All of the money has been raised to cast the Richard Hathaway sculpture and to bring him home to Vermont.
Many thanks to the friends, family and colleagues that made this happen. The note on top of the satchel of the Dick Hathaway sculpture reads,
"Dear Richard Hathaway, May all that come after you emanate your love of family, history, education and philanthropy. With great appreciation your family, friends, colleagues and students. "
A special thanks is extended to Charlotte Hastings, the artist's professor at Vermont College who encouraged her in this project, but is now sitting in heaven admiring the work with her friend and colleague Richard Hathaway.
